TYLER MORTGAGE MANAGEMENT - INDEPENDENT MORTGAGE ADVICE
Simon Tyler – Personal Background.
Simon was 50 in January 2010 and yet still remains the baby of the family to his 3 siblings and his parents...
He was educated at Rendcomb College in Gloucestershire and at Lanchester Polytechnic (now Coventry University) where he nearly (3 years out of 4) completed a degree in Business Studies.
His first paid holiday job was working in a factory making Loo Blu (yes in the 70s Blue water in your toilet bowl was the very height of sophistication) where working through lunch breaks gave him more income and thus started a lifetime of longer than average hours in pursuit of better than average results for him and his clients.
In April 2009 he and Rosemary marked their 25th Wedding Anniversary whilst their children are now, respectively, working in TV production, at University and starting GCSE courses at school. Rosemary continues to have a very busy Nursing career.
Simon is a keen (but limited) sportsman and has played Rugby with Kingston RFC since 1974 and in recent years has played regularly with the Commons & Lords Rugby Team in the UK France and Australia. He also spends a fair amount of time following his youngest child around the Southern Counties as she plays hockey for Surbiton HC and representing Surrey in her age group.
After 29 years of traveling up to London, the 2009 creation of TMM has meant a very much shorter commute and no excuse to avoid a keep fit programme of regular runs, so having been the same height since he was 9 stone he is hoping, having been relieved of a significant amount of Sterling pounds over the 2008/9 period, lose some body-mass pounds too.
Meetings with Simon in London could be at many venues including Il Vicolo Restaurant in Crown Passage SW1 where Simon's client Giacomo Bonavita always has a table available for a convivial meeting. TMM is now headquartered in a building that resembles a small cricket pavilion close to his home where he can meet locally based clients.
